Josh WFO
1st April 2009, 12:08 PM
Well since I am getting started on my rebuild I figured I would post up what is going to happen in the near future...

I am going to be ordering some shoes for the car in the next week or so. I need to give the current ones back to their owner.

Hoosier 28x10.5x15 or good year 28x10.5x15's is what I am thinking.

2.93 upper pulley good for about 4 psi

4# lower good for 4-5 lbs... (17 psi total)

n2o plate kit 50-100 adjustable wet

line lock

26 spline input when clutch goes

tune

should be in the ballpark of 600-650 RWHP with n2o about 500-525 no n2o

Pictures will come when I start getting the parts (after a I pay couple debts I have out)

I'm trying to think of a clever joke about Goodyear using yellow text/aka sarcasm on their tires, but nothing is coming to me.

We talkin street slicks? Or real slicks? I thought Goodyears and BFG's where bad but Hoosiers and MT's where the best???

And as far as traction Andrew, are you basing this for grabbing on the street? Or track?

Fill me in...

I was just basing off this quote in another thread:
I thought the car had good power for only being a stock boost... engine mods are just water pump, intake, exhaust.

I am buying a ported eaton out of cali for 400 bucks. I have to sell mine first but yep 500 hp at 20* timing...

Ah, makes perfect sense now. I was just trying to figure out how the **** you were going to efficiently pull all of that boost/power off with a stock huffer.

I don't think it was stated but were you serious about having them backwards? ex. yellow lettering would show on the passenger side you move it to the driver side and the yellow lettering would be in..
