Well...I went to OSU, so I'm gonna be pulling for them, and I'm sure they're the favorite anyways.
OSU-38
NU-27

Neither team has any defense at all. I say 100-99 OSU.

I'm actually a little scarred of the outcome of this game ... really I don't know what to think.
I'm gonna go with 31-28 ... Nebraska with the field goal to win it.

I give NU a sligth advantage JUST because it's homecoming and it's true they seem to play better on homecoming.

yea but NU has shown NO HEART or determination to win this year at all.

I'll cheer for the Huskers, but I won't be suprised if they lose.

I change my prediction. Oklahoma State can play ok defense sometimes, Nebraska never does.
OSU - 125
NU - 38
NU making it slightly closer with a field goal as time is expiring. After the worst beating in school history some random NU fan assassinates Callahan and Cosgrove. The Husker nation rejoices and hires the Tom Osbourne's closest relative as his replacement. He implements the wishbone formation and runs the option offense and NU never loses another game as long as football is played.

I went to the IA state game.. and i'm not sure what it looked like at home.. but that first quarter was HORRIBLE. I almost left. Then all of a sudden NU started kicking ass. it was great. it was almost like it was planned. So last weekend i really thought as good as NU looked they could bring out a win.. horrible start... i was like well thats how ia went.. i kept having hope that the play calling would get more aggressive and the points would quickly move up... i did alot of hoping and alot of swearing... I dont' doubt NU can win. I aslo think they have enough talent that they "could" play with anyone including USC and LSU. But as already stated. This team has no heart. :( They wanna play when things are going good but they don't wanna go out and get dirty when they are down. :rolleye:

OSU, two much speed for the defense, and the "West Coast Offense" won't be able to score enough to keep up.

Meh ... with exception of one or two people I know, no one was saying **** about Nebraska before last year and a whole **** ton more talking **** this year. It's sad, but funny people have to jump on all the bandwagons and not actually have loyalties to teams that aren't top notch the current year.

A true fan keeps watching and criticizes what they see. A band wagon fan turns their back and starts watching again when things turn around.

First time Oklahoma State won against the Huskers in Memorial Stadium, last time they won, they were Oklahoma A&M.
I stayed until late into the 4th quarter. I'll admit, I'm not a fan of Pederson by any means, I don't hate Calahan, he just stepped into a shitty situation. Cosgrove on the other hand, I think he's a huge **** face. But I've got to support the Huskers even when they're horrible.
I did think it was awesome that after the game the University Bookstore was busy as all hell with people still buying Husker apparel ... we still have lots of loyal fans sticking around.

it is a sad day when before half time there are so many people leaving it looks like the game is over
i love my huskers but it is hard to watch, its like going to a funeral. I hate to jump on the "fire the coach" bandwagon and still haven't but SOMETHING has got to change, they are messing with the states biggest source of pride.
dunnster76
13th October 2007, 09:44 PM
Yeah ... something does need to change. Calahan won't be fired, but I'm really hoping something happens with the coaching staff, or at least they change their strategies, game plans and attitudes all together. It's a sad day for Husker football, but it happens ... we can't be great forever. At least we have our history to fall back on, remember the glory days.

Unless you meant, "they couldn't care less"... in which case, I'll agree with your last post.

dunnster76
14th October 2007, 07:43 PM
Bo won't settle for anything less than a head coach gig from now on I'd guess. And he's not really that great of a head coach prospect, yeah he's got the coaching know how, but he's not good with the media and is a bare minimum kind of guy who would strip a school of all it's traditions in a heartbeat.
