Suggestions where to have gears put in?

So far I have only tried 1 place (The Shop) and they said it would be around $300. Thats a little out of my budget

any suggestions would be great since the guy that did my fox can't do it now and he only charged my $75 but i know i am going to have to pay more to have it done

yeah i was going to have a couple of mechanics at where i work do it but they tried telling me my car is a dohc and has an IRS but i had to prove them wrong

I argued with them that was a cobra not a GT but they wouldn't take my word for it so I had to take the car there and once they saw it there like oh, but after that i don't think i'll feel comfortable with them touching my car
