when I left for the army it was a quick decision and It didn't have time to get all my stuff out of the shop corey and I were sharing. i left they key with a good friend of mine and told him to get the rest of the stuff out. well, a week later when my friend went to get my stuff corey had all ready changed the locks. then when my wife tried calling to setup a time to get all the stuff, corey was a **** on the phone to her and tried telling her i owed him money, yada yada. she didn't know what to do, and her only contact with me was via letters so it took a while for me to know what was going on. three months later when i graduated basic training, i finally got him on the phone and he acts all cool and was like, ohh it's no problem for you to get your stuff, but uhh i need money for storing your stuff for the last few months. :rolleye: whatever dude. i told him to just keep the damn tool chest, that way my family could at least come and get the rest of the stuff i had there. shitty deal, but at the time i had no other choice. he's not the only one who was ever ****ed me on deals like this. just add him to the list. some day karma will catch up.

Yeah that exactly how it went down....

You leave a car and 3 motors, 2 trannies in my shop and ALOT of other stuff in my shop. When you told me you would get it all taken care of before you left and you DIDNT.

I changed the locks because you were gone and someone was in my shop without me knowing it removing things, i couldnt get ahold of you cuz you were in basic training...

Your friend with the key? Why didnt he just call me and say hey i want to pick up HIBs stuff? That would be way too easy, since he was going to clean it out for you.. but instead he wanted to do it when i wasnt there with a key i didnt know you had given him?

You hadnt paid rent for 2 or 3 months before you left either.. (which i believe was worked out with the bench i am selling here ) but what ever you are serving our coutry, so it makes it ok to leave half a garage full of **** in my shop and not pay rent and render the space useless.

I actually called your girlfriend , she didnt call me. I messaged her on Myspace trying to figure out what to do with all your stuff, i dont recall being a **** but i did have a garage full of **** sitting in my shop including a car that was suppose to be moved before you left.

Doesnt matter, no need to waste each others time with useless posts on here. Congrats on your career in the military, i wish you well.

Yes, the bench was worked out as payment in full for the rent. I never mentioned anything about it... and, that constitutes payment so i don't see why you say i hadn't paid rent????

I just feel like you could have handled the situation a lot better then what you did. obviously i feel like i got stiffed a little. but like you said, there isn't anything i can do about it now. i just felt like venting because when i see that tool chest it still makes me a little pissed off.

there's also the case of my MSD digital 6 box and optima red top battery that somehow came up missing. but there's nothing i can do about that because there's no way to prove it. all i know was that it was there with my stuff when i left, then the next time i came home it wasn't with any of my stuff that my family moved for me. hmmm weird huh.

And i think you could of handled it better as well by maybe taking care of it before you left.. or if your friend with the key went out there a week later and it was locked, why didnt he just call me and then arrange a time to pick up the stuff instead of leaving it sit there for 3 months?

The 3 months of it sitting there is the "rent" i charged for the tool chest.. which is pretty fair in my opinion when rent is $340 a month...

I feel i got stiffed a little because i moved to the bigger shop with you in an agreement that you were going to share it with me, then 2 month later you enlist...

Ill stop or this will never end...... take care.

Congrats on the marriage.. if ya ever have an official wedding / reception let me know and ill hook ya up with photography.. :)

All your stuff was piled in the corner as you left it. Then loaded into your mom's truck.
