I have had problems in the past, but they are all fixed now. I am NOT selling this car because it is a lemon, or anything like that. I just want something automatic and 4 door for a more useful daily driver. The idle doesn't surge anymore, the ECU/Alternator problems have all been fixed. The car runs and drives great now, I can not stress this enough because I know some people are going to say that I'm only selling because it is broken. The only problems still existing with the car are as follows :

-Bent rim. Just slightly bent back right wheel. Drives smooth, and even at high speeds it's only barely noticeable. Sure I'd get it fixed, but a honda steelie shouldn't cost more than $10 I just haven't been able to find one locally yet.
-Rear window defroster doesn't work.
-Front suspension is clunky when you go over bumps. Worn out bushings is a really common problems on this generation civic. It was never a big enough annoyance for me to bother fixing.

The car will NOT come with the wheels pictured (it will come with these stock wheels (http://www.shannamara.net/images/swapshop/cannada_honda.jpg)), they are sold and gone already. It will also come with the stock radio. *updated

so if its not a lemon will you warrenty any ecu or idle problems?

It was fixed by a shop, so they will pay for it if the ECU fails again.

I'm working on acquiring a more fun car, however that is completely separate from my daily driver. I'm only selling this daily driver so that I can buy another daily driver a little better suited to my needs/tastes, which in my case is 4 door and automatic.

Please let me know. I don't know how long I can convince myself to sell it at this price, I might just fix the suspension and jack the price back up to $5700 and stick it in wheels for you and throw it back on craigslist. I probably had 20 people come test drive the car for $5700, but the suspension scared them all off. This price drop is easily enough to cover any work that needs to be done. I found new front struts online for $90 a piece already.
