so my return is going to be about 500 more than I expected so I am gonna get new tires for my stockers, along with coilovers
the stock rims are, 18x8, and 18x9
I am wondering what kinda meat can I put on these.
I am thinking 245,40,18 , and 265,40,18
these should fit right, and with the width difference how bad will the aspect ratio be from the front vs. back? I might try 245,45,18 and 265,40,18 I just dont know how well that tall of a tire will fit up front with it lowered. I dont think I want to do a 40 up front and a 35 out back, that seems alittle small imo, but i really dont know
thanks for your help!

245,40,18 and 265,40,18 would work good

and I agree, 45 all around would probably be a tad too big, and 35 in back is too small IMO, it also depends on what the stock size is, I know on the FD the stock 8 inch rims have 225 width tires all around, and right now with 8.5 up front and 9.5 in back it's 245/275 so you might be shooting a little wide.

you do know that on a 265 a 40 will be taller than it would on a 245 right?
this is my question I want the tires the same height, and the rating they use is a aspect ratio

well If I change the width on 1 tire and its a different width on the other and I keep them both at 45 one will be taller than the other....

40's would work fine but I'd go with some 35's on the rear. They won't be uneven, and if they are not noticeable. look in my sig - fronts 245/40/ rear 285/35

well and I will have adjustable ride height so wheel gap with alittle uneven tires wont be too bad I can compensate for it

generally speaking a 245/40 will have a smaller sidewall than a 265/40 because it is a partial hight, partial width rating. Just because the aspect ratios are the same doesn't necessarily mean they are dead on exactly the same sidewall height. When I went from 245/35's to 255/35's the 255's were taller
