View Full Version : I missed my flight this morning... I have a good excuse!!!

... but DAMN it was worth it!!!!

I was leaving my hotel on Santana Row (rich shopping/clubbing area in San Jose) when I saw an F430 drive by (my favorite exotic <$1mil) so I flipped a ***** around another car that was on the inside turning lane and followed him back down Santana Row.

I followed him into a parking lot and started talking to him, I told him what I do as a 'hobby' and then he told me I should stick around, there were going to be a lot more exotics coming!

So I planned out EXACTLY how long I could stay and still catch my flight... well, I was wrong, but who cares, it was only $50 extra for the next flight :)

Right before I left, the guy took me for a ride in his F430 which made my week!

HOLY ****!, its a Vector. I did a report on this car in the 4th grade b/c it was one of the first production cars to break the 200mph barrier with a top speed of 218mph......oh yes.

but dayum is it uglier than i remember lol.

meh you can say the same thing about corvette

the problem is that ferrari and lamborghini, even porsche never made gay ass family cars, never made farm trucks, etc. They ONLY made performance cars and that is what your buying their history for.

If you think a company that made the taurus is in the same league as a company who made the F50, F40, Enzo, etc. Then you are crazy.

And speaking of Taurus', you would probably laugh at me if I told you that the SHO engine was originally designed to take out the Ferrari's of the mid 80s, believe it or not. :bolt:

Ya, the engine was actually designed to be thrown in a mid engine RWD Sports car back in 1986ish called the GN34.

Oh well. Nobody cares, so I'll stop talking now. lol

no arguement here. i already said the vipers were a waste of megapixles on kyle's part. and if he took pics of a zo6 or a gt i'd have said the same thing.
