Biggest problem,is trying to set stuff up at and heading out before 1 a.m. and then **** gets busted people get emo,etc etc.
No one listens though,rather head out too early...get busted,cry,give up,cry some more,get there first GF and then disappear slowly but surely. I've seen em come and go,usually "cars" are just a phase for 60% of participants,as soon as it's inconvenient,they're gone like brown wind.

All I know is I've been setting up specific spots to meet up at and race every Saturday for the past 2 months and we've had 20+ cars every Saturday with tons of racing every time.

My problem is that I have a wife, 2 kids and a VERY demanding job that cause me to have a real lack of time for this... I also moved to Gretna which adds alot of drive time for me to get anywhere.

Now, with that said... My kids are getting easier to take care of, Money is starting to come easier and I'm getting a little more of a stranglehold on my job. Which means I should be out more... The only thing that will hold me back is that I'm planning on attending MAM more and if they ever get a track built, well, you know where I'll be...

I think with the new infulx of UNL students (myself included) there is a need for street racing. I know me (200whp Turbocharged 1988 Prelude 2.0Si and 3 other of my friends ( 99 Rausch [sp?] Mustang, twin turbo rx-7, turbo Saab 9000) are all looking for a good spot to race but sadly all to no avial. If its still dead there could atleast be a week or 2 or revival?

that may have been the case to start off the summer, but its grown way more than that since. I don't know half the people racing, which is kinda decent seeing as its not just board members.

Everyone of you that say the scene has died, rarely, if ever, come out anyways. Sit and make excuses but thinking back, every weekend seems to be a helluva decent one. Sometimes its not in lincoln, people need to quit being pansies and move out if need be! Omaha had some great cars, but the cops were annoying... still many showed and were ready to rock. Hastings was even fun as hell!

Try this, quit making posts about how the scene has died, and come out. Otherwise, don't say it has, I don't care who you are and how 5+ years ago blahblahblah when alley had his ta blahblahblah everything was OMG RACE RACE RACE. Things change, you guys left, new people came in.

My attitude changed once I became involved with the "scene". I want to preserve it, its a fun time.

Its a b20a5 engine found only in the 3rd gen prelude. Not to be confused with the b20 found in a crx. Also those b-series engine (b20a3,b20a5,b21a1, b20a) dont match up with any other b series engine
