I'm in the market right now as well... I'll tell you this... I've come to find out that there is soooo much to consider when chosing a system. I've been doing a TON of homework right now and when I'm finished I'll have one Kick Ass system! so take the time to know what you want...

Best buy had a sweet deal in last week's ad. ( think it was bestbuy ) Not some piece of **** either. It had a denon receiver, 5.1 mirage speakers, and a I can't remember the sub but it was nice. $999. You can't really beat that. Otherwise, look at the google ads to the right of this thread. Saw a couple things on there that looked okay. Perhaps ebay for a used setup.

Right now I'm looking at Focals for my all of my 7.1 speakers, Denon for my reciever & Blueray, Velodyne for my Sub and a Pioneer Elite 1080P Projector. I've added it up and it's scary $$$$ but the sound and picture is going to be AMAZING! Just ask Justin... he's seen/heard what I'm doing!

I should add that I was also looking @ B&W's but that is WAY out of my budget... the Focals will suffice just fine! :D

You don't need a Denon blu ray player, that's just a waste of money. Get a nice panasonic or sony.
