A few pictures of dad's current project. A Mopar convertible, can anyone still actually recognize what it is/was? :)

If you do know what it was, the front fender/hood may look a little odd

Notice anything different about the rocker/lower door?

The rockers are extended to make the car look lower but that made the rocker funny looking so dad extended the bottom of the door to even the proportions back out.

6.1L Hemi lurking under the plastic. Obviously a B-body never had a shaker hood so that's all done custom.

Driver's door isn't all primed yet so you can see the work being done better

Modified bumper to get it in closer to the body

Trunk Lid, if you have the car figured out this will throw you off too

Grill is kind of an uncertainty still, couple ideas going on.

Quarter extension/custom taillight concept, don't think taillights are finalized yet either

He's moving along pretty good now that it's winter. Should be pretty interesting when it's done. Lot more work than the Charger but probably won't get half the attention.

Dear lord that's a lot of work.* Hope it turns out like he wants it to!

* I hate body work, don't have the patience.

Agreed on all fronts. Looks like a badass project for sure. I hope I have the time/patience/talent for that when I'm older.

67 Belvedere with a Charger grill possible more? The guide coat hides to body lines pretty good.

68 charger trunk lid treatment.

Where in SS does he live, I need to come steal the wagon and the old pump too.

Belvedere, Satellite, same difference. The car itself is a Satellite. The grill pieces are from a Charger and then the other is the stock Satellite piece. The hood is actually mostly from the Satellite other than the front few inches. The fenders came from a Dodge but the front foot or so is all cut up.

All MOPAR's look the same to me, so I had no idea. That is pretty cool though, just because that is a lot of work.

So it is identifiable as a Plymouth by having flat quarters, the Dodge has bulges in the sides and bumps up on the top after the door.
The fenders and hood are clearly identifiable as nothing as the Plymouth hood has a significant flat area on the front while having the center crest but the Dodges have a thinner leading edge on the fenders and hood while having dual lines that flow off the fender. They both have fenders that stick out farther than the adjacent area where dad's now is straight.
