So i have an idea on how to install a program that we can use to track and manage a football pool.
If i were to get this who would use it? I know we are a couple weeks deep but that shouldn't ruin the fun of it.
Could even place bets on it using LSS money :)

pros are washed up college players
BossRoss

minus the washed up part. pro evens out the playing field. b/c unlike college where u have one or two guys per team that can run faster than a 4.5 40' when u go the pro's there are about 8 guys on each side of the ball that can run a 4.5. so the "star" running backs from college cant just use their speed to run over everybody. alot like reggie bush did when he was at usc. once he got to the pro's he had to learn to run behind his blockers instead of being able to use his speed to get around everyone.

i still think pros are lop sided.....pats v. dolphins....take you pick...should be 50:50 right?
BossRoss
4th October 2007, 10:34 PM
haha. dolphins blow ass. they have all the talent. but they wont play as a team. and their coaches suck balls. its the same with the bengals. they have the talent to beat any team in the nfl but when they are a bunch of jealous pricks who all want to take credit for everything the team does but yet none of the blame. of course their going to lose

college ftmfw...i could watch college football all day...they care about the game, pros care about the money. NFL is good only during Division Championships, college is good all year long and then a bonus...Bowl Games.

I was thinking pros. To many college teams and that requires alot of weekly updating on my end It's possible that next year i could put the whole NCAA(football) schedule in.
That would be interesting.

The entire D-1A schedule, every game every week, that would be sweet, and keep us all busy as ****.
There would be games that we would be trying to pick that we would have otherwise not even known were being played.

like who would have picked usc losing to stanford?
David
7th October 2007, 04:47 AM
bahabhahaha. NO ONE.. whats funny is i was watching the LSU game wiating for the huskers (dont' get me started) and one of the telecasters made teh comment that USC is possibly the best NCAA football team EVER. 1 hour later they lose at home to unranked stanford.
btw i won't have the pool up for tomorrow so by next weeked.

the one thing i dont like about college is that an unranked team beats a top rated team cause the top rated team was thinking it would be a blow out and then you get the underdog in there all fired up ready to go and then they put that underdog in the top 25 only to lose their next game and take them right back out...like stanford, they will get huge votes and possibly make it in and then probably lose next week and be right back out, and like k-state...they beat texas get put in the top then lose to kansas and are now back out. they need a top ten and thats it or something, idk.

That USC upset sure was great for the stregnth of schedule for Nebraska. Now they got blew out at home by a top 15 team, not the #2 team in the nation. haha
Doesn't matter anyway because Mizzou dismantled that ass on both sides of the ball.

Stanford not only did not make the top 25 this week, they got no votes at all in the AP and 4 points in the coaches when it took 143 to be 25th. Who really cares how many they list in the rankings?

Well i'm having more trouble with this than i know what to do with... the credit system is part of the pool. But i can't get ti to work the way i want it to so it looks like this won't work until next week
This sucks because i have all the games already loaded for thsi week and it's ready to go.
