on my little turbo i'm pretty sure i can run about 2200 lol

actually its a known fact we can push our turbo's without a problem on hardware store plumbing. there just plain isnt enough air flow for the pressure to cause a problem.

its a difference in the amount of air being moved. moving 5psi through a straw into a large pipe is nothing compared to pushing 5psi out of a 2" pipe into a straw

I worked with a guy that put a huge fmic on a T25. It was pretty sweet. It took about 5 hours for the little T25 to pressurize the added 10,000 cubic inches of intercooler space.

hmm. i'm not having any problems on this. i guess there may be a LITTLE more lag. so instead of hitting full boost at 2400 rpms i hit it at 2800 rpms.

5psi is 5psi. Were you experiencing heat soak?

somewhat. nothing concrete as i dont have an intake temp sensor. but just doing one of those laser thermometers at the inlet and outlet of the stock IC it was showing maybe 5 - 10 degrees difference after a hard run.

now i'm getting about a 20 degree difference.

also i'm working on a turbo upgrade. so i was going to need a more efficient IC anyway and i got a good price on this one.

yeah basically.

plus it looks intimidating now. some kid in a RSX hollered something at me but i couldnt hear it over his exhaust. we got to a light and he repeated his question "what turbo do you have on your integra?"

me being the smartass i am said "its a mazda. u driving a honda yourself i figured you'd know better"
him: "this isn't a honda. its an acura. probably worth 10x the pile of **** you're in"
me: "so if its worth more that means its faster right?"
him: *laughs* "you think u can hang with an RSX?" *proceeds to rev his engine* (i was actually impressed at this point with the sound of his car. not ricey at all. nice deep throaty sound. hardly honda sounding.)
me: "no i dont think i'll hang with it. but you're welcome to stare at my tail lights until you're squinting."

at this point he rolls up his window while i hear his passenger going "dude i think he's going to win"

raced him. beat him. his passenger appeared to be laughing at the next light and the driver was all sorts of pissed off.

doubtful. it wasn't hard to walk away from this thing. i have yet to give my car full throttle since installing the IC and i walked away from it like it was standing still. just a cocky HONDA owner.
