since both you guys own jeeps
David
13th September 2007, 02:30 PM
there is no mod. i don't feel it's really required. If i find you guys are asshats (don't think anyone here is ) i'll appoint someone. I'm trying to reduce moderation as much as possible. The only mods are in private sections right now. Otherwise, admins have done a pretty good job of keeping everything in check.
So please don't be gay and there will be no need for a mod.

Works for me, I just wanted to know if there was one or not.

Why should you or Ross be mods? since you both own Wranglers? I offroad.. how often do you guys go out LOCALLY? This is a LOCAL site btw.
no mods FTW

Just because I choose to go to an ORV and choose not to go some little mud hole, doesn't mean I'm not local. Want a local ORV talk to the state.
Personally I think that Ross or Myself would do a better job being a mod, not because we own Jeeps. Knowledge, Know How, and some other criteria come into play as well.
But having no mod seems to be working just fine, so lets leave it at that.

you need to know more about Jeeps/offroading to delete posts and edit things, and clean up threads? uhhh k. Oh well, i dont know anything about automotive anyway.

OK then asswipe, the person with the most post's in this section deserves to be mod? If you go to the same mudpit to climb the same hill, almost everyday you deserve to be mod?

i think you left because you didnt want to scratch your belly pan..
Well then mr badass, where is a decent place to go around here?
toom1h
16th September 2007, 11:12 PM
zomg haven't you heard about tuttle
Nickels
16th September 2007, 11:41 PM
around here..
Whats tuttle?
toom1h
16th September 2007, 11:45 PM
trespassing or not trespassing?
Yogi
17th September 2007, 01:23 AM
There is no decent place around here, Tuttle would be the closets ORV. There are a couple in Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota also. If you could go to one and screw around for a day you would seriously ask yourself (you should be doing this anyway), why am i going up and down the same 6 hills alsmot everyday?
I could care less about scratching the belly pan, it's there to get scratched and dented so other more important things do not.
toom1h
17th September 2007, 08:58 AM

Yogi
17th September 2007, 02:10 PM
Yeah you did, and it's not like Jeep put them on there just for looks
BossRoss
17th September 2007, 03:46 PM
but they did put the pointless end caps there. well i guess if you wanna break boulders into smaller rocks then thats what they're for.
C.J.
17th September 2007, 04:19 PM
they put the "gas tank skidplate" on early XJ's just for looks....those things are worthless. I have been wheeling with 3 different early 90s XJ's crack/break gas tanks b/c they came down on ledges landing on the fuel tank.
BossRoss
17th September 2007, 04:36 PM
well obviously their not gonna hold if you slam em down onto a rock. their just there to prevent if you scrape over a sharp rock. so it wont puncture. which is why most people upgrade theirs.
Yogi
17th September 2007, 06:08 PM
I'll be doing my eventually....
