AE86 LSD

anyone know what i need for it? i'm turning it into a drift car this summer and have springs, and strut bars to install, and figured an lsd should be next. any help would be nice. thnx. hopefully some drift guys or yota fanboys.

Yes, you were right.

It is a chassis code, but the information gets conflicting from there. In some cases I see ALL rwd corollas that age being called "AE86". In others cases, I read that only the GT-S is an AE86, all others rwd corollas that age are AE85.

You could say the first three digits are the chassis code, the last is trim level.

it might be, my mom registered it and im not a toyota fanboy so idk. its bak home but ill check the vin when i go home next. nothings done, bone stock. i just have springs to put on. i was watching a drifting video by Keiichi Tsuchiya and said worry about suspension then make sure to get an lsd. power's not super important until u get really good.

jack up the back of the car. turn one wheel. if the other one turns in the same direction then you have LSD.

well i was gonna F20C swap it when the cash came in since its lightweight and i only got it for 700. i initially got it so my mom can learn to drive stick and get good gas mileage.

my cousin wrecked his s2000, so the motors pretty much mine. the money ill spend is on the swap. idk if i should keep the stock rearend and get an lsd or swap the s2k one.
