I am looking at either some BFG Mud Terrain ta km2 or some **** for like $830 off of Tire Rack OR Don's used tires has a new set of Mud radial things that look like retreads for $525 mounted.
btw the BFGs are 35x12.50 and the offbrand ones are 33x12.50, but look kinda skinny more like 11.50 or something. Although the retreads are cheaper, huh?

Yea, they do.. BUT they're $130 more expensive.

they aren't always the cheapest, but you kinda have to go to the end of ordering before you know cause they'll throw in shipping and discounts at the last minute sometimes.

I don't know what to recommend in a "mud" tire.
Try slightly different sizes to open it up a little.

I did. I went to checkout and it added on some extra crap like valvestems and stuff..

well you can delete all that fluff from your basket obviously, but try different sizes. Or search by a particular tire you like and it'll show you all sizes and prices at once. Some times one weird size or another is dirt cheap for no reason.

Yea, on tire rack the 35s are cheaper than the 33s, lol.

So are you saying it doesnt matter if they're the better ones or not? The guy at TO Haas said he hasnt heard any different with grip from noname to namebrand.

Also consider Hankook RT03 or Cooper Discoverer STT or whatever cheap Mud terrain you can find at your favorite local tire store.

The ones in that second link are more of what im looking for, but i dont know if im feeling the skulls on the side tread.. I have a toyota, not a primered 80s chevy, lol.
When i see those for $700, i think why not just spend $100 more and get BFG Mud terrains.. Its going on my cc, so im not actually going to see the money in a lump sum, lol

What does this "primered" mean? Mine is like 5 colors and rust. Think mad max meets farmboy. I just need a jason mask on the front and a deer skull for the hood.

Retreads are like 5 inches wide.. I want 35s dammit, lol. If they had 35s in retreads i would probably get em.
