ZOMG no way sum *****!!!
actaully i did that like a year ago because i thought it would help me get lower intake temps with the head light up ya nope didnt help. But the other day i noticed this little vent at the end right near the intake that was pretty much blocking the air for the filter so i removed it i have yet to see if its makes a difference in temps with the head light up or not though.

if its the vent behind the headlight, thats for the stock airbox. its probly better that its in there unless you take out the entire headlight crap and what not.
