you need three things, in this order of importance and use
12pack camo
welder
plasma cutter

I prefer old mud ice. Will that be a viable substitute?
What kind of welder will I need? Arc, Gas, JB?

if the fist sip makes you throw up in your mouth a little bit then yes
and jb is prefered but if need be double sided 3m sticky tape can be used

You think? I'm sure there are quite a few experts over there on this kind of project so I suppose you are right.
Thanks! :)

Hoist up the radiator cap and replace all the parts under that with your favorite V8 and associated hardware.

I think a V-12 from a couple Mopar slant 6s would be a better idea.

How much power can I expect to gain just from converting it from a 4 cylinder to a V8? I would expect it to be more than just double since it'll now be a V8.
Does anyone have a formula for it? V = (BHP*2) * 3?

I think it's that

That seems more accurate. I was being kind of conservative on my estimates.

only if you set them at a slight angle in the engine bay and trunk. Otherwise it's a parallel 8 and not a V8
