I'm looking at wiring up a relay with a thermal switch, where could you place the 3/8-18 npt sending unit? I haven't had a chance to go and look around yet but the instructions say in the head or intake manifold fitting.

The head or intake is right where I would look if I was putting this on a SBC. Whoa! Those holes are also 3/8 NPT whoodathunk!

As far as the DSM goes, I got nothin'.

I would tend to go with somewhere in the head that gets coolant, I could see the intake mani staying hotter(fan stays on longer than needed) or doesn't get up to temp as fast as the coolant(runs hotter until the intake catches up)

I think I might just go with the radiator probe style.
