Glass etching

My wife did this on a Ranger yesterday, did the same picture on the other side only reversed.

I thought it turned out pretty good, usually people want wildlife or car emblems/logos etched so this was a little unique.

Yup, she uses carbide and diamond bits in a Dremel Tool. Gets glass dust all over the place.

I think she gets around $50 for doing this one on both sides, since it took her about 4 hours total that is pretty cheap. She puts a design on her computer and blows it up to the desired size and prints it out. Then she uses some kind of special carbon paper and traces the design on the glass then hand etches it from there. When she gets home I'll have her email me some more examples.

Only a few were on cars, the others were for some water bed store in Iowa. You are probably right about the trailer park part, I could go with a small car logo or something like a sneaky pete. Better than a decal in any case.

The original owner of my Z etched Z28 into the windshield and rear window and I really don't care for it...
