So i need to replace my harmonic balancer sometime soon.... it's gotten a little wobbly I've hear you need a special tool from a dealership to do this? I guess this is a common problem on these cars, idk. Any one know what to expect for the change? or will i have to take my car to a dealership..cuz i frown on doing that.

you can rent the tools at the auto parts store, they just require a deposit, then you get your deposit back.
if yours is stock, id just replace it with another stock one.

I'd spend the extra money and get a good balancer,it's a good investment. **** getting a stock one.

Ya,a junk balancer is torment on bearings at high rpms. A better quality balancer is gonna be more stable at high RPM. It's just one less thing you have to buy for your motor later, also.
I would suggest getting one that you can change wieghts on,that way if you build a 347 or something of the sort, you can retain the balancer w/a simple balancer wieght change.
