Biden. Palin just rambled on about her energy background, over and over and over again. She also said Maverick about 10 times too many. Even though she'd hot as ****, I'd like to punch her in her swamp.

Biden answered the questions, and threw in the occasional jab at the opponent.
Palin tried really hard to avoid answering the questions, while throwing out as many campaign catch phrases as she can. Energy background, John McCain is a Maverick, we're gonna put the government back on the people's side, etc. etc.

i think it would have been more of a spread if biden would have shown less restraint and went after some of the mistakes palin had

I agree with coop. If he would have called her out when she was talking about Afghanistan, that debate wouldn't have been close.
She called McKiernan "McClellan" serveral times, and when she said Biden was wrong about McKiernan not supporting their strategies in Afghanistan she was also dead wrong.
Since one of her main bragging points is all the foreign policy experience she has, you'd think she's get her facts right.

joe biden said "go into home depot with me and start asking people about comparing mccains foreign policy with the current foreign policy"

Spencer, the reason I don't like Palin is because she has no idea what she's talking about. She's obviously just trying to remember as much of what her debate coaches told her, and every time she gets off track it just came back to the same old "Maverick", "Put the Government back on the people's side", bs
She seems way in over her head and unable to have any sort of opinion of her own.

spoonraker
3rd October 2008, 10:26 AM
Yes I watched it. She did much better last night than she did with some of her other recent attempts at answering questions, however she still seems very much in over her head.
It was obvious that there were times she just didn't know what to say, so she went back to the same old "Maverick" "Govt on the people side" default reply, which is better than some of her previous attempts, but still not an answer to the question.

not quite...I was going to work on traveling construction/railroad for 3-4 years and bank every penny.
while either living at home with my parents, or on the road (expenses paid)
that would have got me saved up enough to pay for a very nice house, once a home is established and paid for that eliminates alot of finance issues.
