Hello, I am curious as to what percentage of SCR members use this drug.

It's an anonymous poll, so don't get your pantaloons wound up. I'm just curious for curiosity's sake on how many people on here smoke or toke or whatever on occasion. Or ever have, for that matter.

A vote "Yes" = You have partaken AT LEAST once in history in use of said substance under own accord
A vote "No" = You have never partaken even ONCE under own accord of said substance
A vote "Unsure" = You're unaware of partaking in use of said substance under own accord, but may have had a so-called "contact high" from other users, but even then, you're not without a doubt that you have not ever taken said substance. But you might have. But you can't be sure.

Any time I've had the opportunity there was always some impending reason it could have potentially been a bad idea. So I'd say that at first I just never did out of convenience. At this point, I'm 31, why start now?

I'm mostly satisfied with my life right now. The things I'd want differently aren't going to improve any if I'm high.

I have never smoked weed in my life, and probably wouldn't even if it was legal, but still think it should be legal. I really can't think of one reason why Daniel should start smoking weed, but he also should legally be able to if he so desired.

I wasn't trying to pressure him on trying it, I was just asking him why he thought he couldn't/shouldn't start now.
Personally, when I smoke, I find it relaxing, I just sit back, and all the stress from the day just floats away.

I'm pretty sure smoking kills brain cells. I can't quote any medical journals, but i've known quite a few guys who have turned from a halfway intelligent person, to straight DUMB AS **** from doing nothing but smoking all day long.

No it does not. The only scientific study that has been proven is that those who smoke over 1lb of weed a week for 20 years have problems with long and short term memory.

Smoked for a long time...looked at my pipe one day and said to myself "this is a waste of time", put it down 13 years ago and never really picked it up again.
I think it should be legal though even though it's not really my thing.
Most of the "studies" on the drug are skewed one way or another. There's even one where they found a NEGATIVE correlation between marijuana consumption and cancer. They suspect there's a chemical that signals mutated (pre-cancerous) cells to die rather than further mutate.
