We own a business on N. 27th street between cornhusker and superior. Recently someone with the city came by and told us to remove 2 of our signs. They were on our side of the property next to the sidewalk.(within 3 feet). They were doing it to every business up and down 27th street. Something to do with making 27th street look better. Well that got me thinking about the drainage ditch next to our lot that is overgrown with all sorts of plants that in the 7 years or so that we have been there someone has come through ONCE and cleared it all out. Im emailing pictures and a complaint to a city councilman for our area but does anyone have any better ideas?

i know they are totally seperate issues, it just made me want to complain. Theres one way to get **** done, and thats to complain to every single person that may have the slightest bit to do with it. So im going to do that, 3 times a week.

WOW. I have never thought of that. Well actually i did, when i went through and took a giant weed whipper with a saw blade attachment and cut down the entire 100' ditch. Takes a long ****ing time to do.

If I looked at it like you did, then when someones car broke down and they brought it to us, we would take their money and tell them to fix it themselves. That makes sense doesnt it?

I sent an email to Doug Emery and I got a response. He forwarded my email and pictures to whoever handles this stuff. I doubt I will hear anymore after this though.

I understand your point, i'm just telling you to be realistic about your expectations.

Why am I suddenly contemplating how much I dread socialized healthcare?
