Anybody wanna help me with my car?

Im fixing all the cosmetic **** right now but i have no idea whats going on with the motor/tranny. It leaks ALOT of what i think is motor oil, and has a quiet ticking sound. When you first put it into drive it wont actually go in for a while and you have to jump it everytime to start it. Its got a new starter and pretty new battery and has had the headgasket replaced. Oh and also if i give it a decent amount of gas it will wheel hop really bad, i think it might be the front motor mount but im not sure on that either.

Some specs on the engine

2.0L SOHC with a 3 spd auto.

If itd be easier to just swap in a new engine i'd be willing to pay someone to help me do that. If that were the case i'd go with a DOHC 5spd though.

Any info or help is appreciated.

All the body parts are already replaced. Except the wheels but i need the R/T wheels.

I've been looking at them, but they're damn expensive on ebay, you can get a nice complete one with low miles on srtforums for around 1500-1800, but i'd still need help swapping it in.

I found a guy thats gonna come and swap in a engine and tranny for me for $350. And its now going to be a 5spd DOHC. Better than before. I just need to buy a clutch.

Do you have all the parts needed to do a manual conversion? He's going to swap a motor in and do all the conversion necessary to convert an automatic car to a manual car for $350? Let me know how that turns out.

Yeah we do have all the parts, we have a whole another car, and it has everything you need to swap it over.

Haha, no. Its a guy that lives in colombus. He has a whole neon that got rear ended. He's done swaps a few times, we're gonna pop it out of that one, add on a few bolt on and make sure everything is in good shape, replace the clutch, and put it into my neon. It should be a HUGE diffrence compared to before, and there is actually a ton of performace upgrades for the DOHC MTX's. I might put together a small turbo later on to make it a little bit funner.
