The Huskers overall looked decent and have a lot of improvement to be made, but this first game was definitely a step in the right direction.

Bo i bet is severly upset with the defense.. Even though it looked 'okay' it still looked like they got tired in the third.

Anyone notice Irving Fryar's son played for Western Michigan? They probably announced it on TV, but I stood a little bit behind him for most of the game, then moved to the corner where the teams enter/exit and had Mike Rozier just in front of me.

Lol yeah. Supposibly he wanted to play for Nebraska but Callahan ignored all his request so he went to WMU to play us.

I doubt he went to WMU just to play us ... if that were the case I'm sure he would have ended up at a Big XII school.

They defense in the second half reminded me of the old Nebraska. Guys wide open play after play, just like they were here take the yards, we don't wanna play D. Really it's hard to say anything after this first game, because we don't know how much we suck or how much WMU really sucks.

Anyone notice the sophmore kicker alex henery has yet to miss a PAT or field goal in 13 games? I played at Burke with him, he's fkin good. Would just nail 55 yard FG's all day in practice, not even joking

but giving up 300+ yards on defense hurts..especially to a team like WMU. The secondary has a lot of work to do, i'm eager to see the improvments for next week. Need to get it in together before Texas Tech, because Graham Harrell will pick us apart lol

haha, I was watching the game with a buddy that hates Ganz because they got into it at the rec center. It is funny watching the games with him, he hates that guy.
Oh, and the defense looked crappy after the first quarter, but at least they were swarming to the ball. All in all, it is way to early to pass judgement on this team.
