i watched last night....and i know my 16 yr olds....these girls are 13-14....thoughts?

china is definitely up to some weird stuff... not just in gymnastics. i watched last night and those girls do not look their age. but it could be cause of all the training and **** they do for gymnastics couldn't it? stunted growth in areas because of how there bodies are used??? idk just a rant

not a chance. Linds and i watched this last night and both commented that there was no way they were 16. Then I got online and read all the articals/claims/"proof" they are not 16. At first i didn't see how this was really an advantage until i read more about how smaller bodies are better.

Actually there is a 13 year old competing in Beijing, Thomas Daley. He might be 14, I've heard conflicting reports, but regardless he's well under 16.

the reason they would want the younger gymnasts is b/c of A. obviously the smaller bodies are more agile. and B. the younger competitors are more carefree and will do stunts an older girl might be scared to do

I'm watching the little Asian girls do gymnastics, it even shows their ages. Are they allowing 15 year olds to do it because it's in China or what?

i know in Korea when you are born you are 1 not 0.....that could be the same in china idk....so 15 to us is 16 to them....something to think about

As long as you turn 16 the year of the Olympics you're allowed to compete, so some of the girls could be 15
