The only time Kentucky was cool, was when Jared Lorenzen was QB for them a few years back.

^ yeah he was great....275lbs

but seriously...kentucky is playing really well...it will be interesting if they can play florida and lsu good in back to back weeks....

Thunder

not sure how accurate the wiki article is, but it was said he was up at 322 lbs at one point rofl.

yeah, kentucky is doing real well. 4-0 start is decent.

Meh ... a decent year for Kentucky isn't nearly as impressive as all the greatness Nebraska has had in the last few decades. They've fallen back to mediocrity, it's just a phase, Nebraska will rise out of it soon enough.

Nebraska>Kentucky any year!

I think Kentucky could take Nebraska after that Ball St. game.

coop

Kentucky SOS - 67

Some of those SEC teams might be ranked right now, but they'll soon fall, rankings early on in the year are pointless.

SOS is all about wins and losses, not rankings. So it'll change a bit throughout the season IIRC, but I still maintain Nebraska>Kentucky any year.

Yeah Kentucky has a decent QB, but past that ... ???

im just saying...for the first time in my life kentucky is ranked higher than nebraska in football...only the second time they have been ranked in my life time...and they forced to come from behind against teams like ball state...

Well then, I guess enjoy one time in your life that Kentucky is at the top of their game and Nebraska is struggling. Congrats.

But don't expect it to be this way here in a few weeks.

Does that automatically make you a fan? I know a lot of people born in Nebraska, still in Nebraska that aren't Nebraska fans ... plus there's more than one major university in Kentucky ... are you a Louisville fan too?

well now with alot of the supposedly "best" big 12 teams losing to unrated teams. the big 12 is looking like nebraska might be #1 in the big 12. and i dont know about kentucky they seem a little overrated to me. i mean what top teams have they played that are even worth naming|??|??/

The title of this is wrong. There aren't enough > between Kentucky and Nebraska. There need to be at least 2, maybe 3 or 4. Because Kentucky is exponentially greater than Nebraska.

Damn, what a great game. I was hoping Kentucky would take down LSU... i like blue! No but really, this kidna throws a wrench in the works, and the only bad i see from it is now Ohio State will get shot up to the top more than likely.

Why the hell did they hafta lose against U-SC last week. It woulda been interesting to see a Kentucky-South Florida champ game!

What about South Florida against Cinci, that'd be pretty sweet.

How is Kentucky over rated? They just beat the #1 team and they were only at 17!

dunnster76

They have a Heisman candidate QB, past that not much. I'm really not a fan, my hatred for them really doesn't let me see any good in them I think.

coop
14th October 2007, 08:25 AM
well i will give you that their qb > * but their freshman running back put tons of yards on the "best defense in the country." The kentucky defense put up many HUGE stands including the game winner in overtime....it was a team effort that game...kentucky would be undefeated right now if it wasnt for two stupid fumbles against south carolina....

If we want to go down that route ... Nebraska would be undefeated if it weren't for two coaches.

Very true, but it made it all that much funnier when Florida just annialated that overanked Big 10 team (Ohio State) last year.

I do actually agree with Coop on this one thing ... SEC>PAC10
