I think it ran in the high 12's in 63'. The motor that is in the car is not the original. The original is in the guys garage. What makes the car worth so much $ is the original motor. He drag races the car at shows he goes to and did not want to take a chance of hurting the original long block. The carbs, intake, v/c, headers are the same as in 63' but the long block is a 9:1 ram air III cam 421.

It's a good thing I'm skinny because those aluminum fenders bend pretty easy.

That is awesome. It's so good to see vintage iron still in good condition. Chad, did you feel like you should be wearing white pants and t-shirt with your hair slicked back? Must be like sitting in a time machine.
That car really needs to be in the NHRA Hall of Fame.
