hit a porcupine out in western nebraska.... WTF was he doing out there i don't know most of them are out in colorado and a little farther west than where i was. anyway the tire caught some of the quills and has yet to go flat after doing interstate speed on the way home. just interesting to see one out in the wild...unfortunate that i had to hit it, but i had three little girls in the back and wasn't going to swerve on those gravel roads.

i almost hit one on my bike in western north dakota. they arent uncommon there. all i could think of was i dont want to pull those needles out of my leg. it was on gravel as well so no swerving for me.
