Street racing (About getting sent away)

i got stopped for street racing 2 months ago 1500 dollar ticket plus the cost of getting my license back but they said if i don't have all the money they can send me away to juvy since i am 16 so can they do that since it was a traffic violation according to my friend

They just pumped up the 20+ fines but even then you shouldn't be able to chew up that much in fines for street racing. Unless that is what you paid total including your lawyer.
