Nothing really funny about it. Bush wrote a bill that included a provision that said that him and his entire administration are immune to prosecution for potential war crimes dated all the way back to 9/11/01. This comes after the Supreme Court ruled that the war crimes act (Geneva convention) applies to the treatment of Al Kayeeeeduh and Taliban detainees.

So lets say you "can" convict the president of the US of war crimes? What does that get you? Does it get him out of office before his term? No. Does it prevent him from being elected another term? no. Maybe it's because it's the right thing? ha. All this does is prevent a witch hunt, which honestly no one is interested in... if they were they've had 7 years. honestly the most opportune time to nail him would have been 4 years ago before he got re-elected.

I understand why you posted it but it's really not unbelievable that it would be submitted and it's really not that hard to believe it's probably going to pass.
