Hi I'm Brian. I go to UNL and I drive a Black 05 WRX. I am currently in the process of shopping around for a turbo back exhaust, cold air intake, and a lightweight crank pulley. If you have any ideas let me know.

To answer a few questions... Yes it is a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX. Yes it is stock at the moment. I have only had the car for 3 weeks. Yes I love it. No, I am not ignorant enough to believe that I have the fastest car on this board and I can beat anyone in a race (I have some common sense). I study Meteorology and Climatology at UNL. Its great to meet you guys.
P.S. Why do so many people dislike the WRX? It's a fine piece of machinery.

If you let anything on this board hurt your feelings you have taken it too seriously. If you have a habit of doing that you probably won't last long here.

they should have made the middle grill piece the same height as the other ones. it would definately add to the car's sexiness

We should trade cars. The difference in $ value between the two is more than made up for in sentimental value. Think about it. If you start feeling guilty like I am getting getting an unfair deal, we can talk cash incentives.

buy used parts
used downpipe - $150
used catback - $300
Opensource stage 2 ECU reflash - free
end result = +50whp and a whole new car.

Well if you know of any parts that are in that range let me know. I could probably spare that much change.

Thanks. Love your car. I like the WRX for my daily driver, and toy for now, but I LOVE american muscle. My dream car is a '71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda.

Drive a SHO for a while, then you'll know just how great you Subi is.
I want one! I've driven a few of them, and I hope I can afford to buy one someday.
