Question for guys with Pro 5.0 shifters?

So yesterday i got in my car to back it out of the garage and notice my shifter feels really loose then when i started it rattled around quite a bit.

So I pulled off my shifter boot and notice that the 2 bolts that hold the upper handle to the lower shifter came really loose and i had to tighten them back up quite a bit.

just curious if this has happened to anyone one else with this shifter cause i know when i had the same shifter on my fox body it never came loose!

It's true! Had the same issue on 3 out 4 Mustangs...Guess the I didn't get enough vibration in the last one lol.

Yep, I've tightened mine so many times I think I started to strip the bolt (i took both them out and the threads had flattened out a bit) so threadlock for me haha

alright thanks guys i was kinda thinkin the same thing about gettin thread lock but just was curious if this problem has happened to anyone else

definitely a usual problem, i tightened mine twice then thread locked those nooblets
