ya... good luck getting a dime out of GM for that. There is an issue for C5 with the column locking while driving... As far as i know no one has received a dime.

thats funny, even early 90's lower intake gaskets leaked and they used regulat ethylene glycol antifreeze

it isn't dexcools problem anyways....the reason the headgaskets go, is because of crappy gasket material....

...besides, you're an idiot noob if you run 5 yrs/100k miles on dex cool

I change it every other year....

There's a common problem for those with the 3400 LA1 engines (same engine I have) where the lower intake manifold leaks coolant into the oil, so far tons of people have been paid for repairs from the class action suit. Although they were definitively able to prove that GM made a shitty intake design and that was the problem...it may be a bit harder to prove that dexcool is the main issue with the gasket degradation.

never seen one mix coolant and oil before. just leak coolant externally.:joe:

they do both pretty often, when i first had mine after a few months it started leaking internally

I use urine. easy to come buy with a great smell and flavor.
