Does anyone have directions for replacing the heads on a 2000 Intrep. I have a bent valve maybe a lil more.
I honestly know nothing about the motor, valves, cams, etc. All i know.. bent valve after being oil starved.
I just want to get the car running again so my mom can use the car for trade in on something else.
With valves does anyone know if i have to buy a full set or can i get i buy just the number needed?
anyone know what the approx labor time is?
Jasen?

Uhh, a question that can't be answered? Congrats
Not sure about singley, may have to run to u-pull it :/
Or possibly call up autozone, i doubt it. But take 5 mins to ask (inless you get ****ed on hold)

if its one head, and your gunna trade it in, your cheap way out would prolly be a junkyard head to throw on there and then trade it off

and if it IS a 2.7 that's a problem. cause used ones bring piles and piles of money.
plus there aren't any.
plus the used one will be junk too.

Righto! Those blow up all the time. IF you can find one in a junkyard, they will want to sell you the entire engine and you will pay $$$$$$. When I was doing claims for GMAC in Omaha I had to scour the US to find those.

I want to say most of the time they were $2600 for a used engine.
