well i'm bored so i figured i'd post a few pics of the other car that takes up all my money. Started racing mini-sprints at age 7, thought it was fun. took it seriously for years, but have recently fell in love with building the motors, and working on the car. A lot of people ask me how fast is the thing? Well since we travel in a circle around a dirt oval, idk the 1/4 mile time. I can tell you it has about 120-140whp and weighs 725lbs with driver in it. so you can do all the calculating you want.

Motor is a hybrid. Kawasaki 636r bottom end, with a Kawasaki 600 carb. top end. Completely built. Sent down to a guy named Mike Gigot in Kansas City to have it done. Got the motor back, still wasn't completely impressed. ported and polished some more, higher comp. pistons/rings, etc. Took out 4th, 5th, and 6th gear to lighten up the tranny.

For this year, it was tough since i didnt have my dad helping me make decisions on what to do. This was the first year i've done all the work myself. I started in the winter, tore the car completely down and am working to build it back up! So stay tuned if interested. here's some pics

I either cant get traction and just spin or pop the front end up whenever i'm in the throttle. i'd be interested in taking it to the next Dyno Day..just for fun ya know?

Im not sure what ratio the gears are but you gotta remember it doesnt have a 4th 5th or 6th gear..

yeah i took them out with the idea that having less gears would be less rotating mass in the tranny. idk if it benefitted anything or not...

to 1/4 mile that thing you'd need some nice slicks and a long wheelie bar.

agreed. iv always wanted to race, my stepdad was really good in mini sprints and fairly good in the 360 class at eagle. Dan Marsh, sound familiar at all?
