Raced my friends camaro...

I raced my buddy in his v6 camaro. we went from a dig up to about 85-90 i got him two out of three...by no more then a fender...maybe a half...what are those rated at? it stock all around...we only did it for fun and i figured he'd crush me...but to my surprise i didn't do to bad

i was spinnin pretty good off the line cuse i have an open diff...and he didn't seem like he was spinning at all off the line...but it was still pretty close seeing as its a 3.5L v6 vs a 1.1L wankel

If anything, if u really wanted to keep it a daily driver i hate saying this, but a ls1 would get u goin fast enough to be happy and still get better mpg than u get right now.

I think U could use bolts to put the engine in you wouldn't need a welder.

Yea im siguy2k on there. Hes worth the drive and wait if you are going to go that route though, my motors real strong. I dont know if hes still porting though, he said mine would probly be the last one cuz of the time it takes and not making money on it really. Whats your screen name on there?

Firstgen_Driver...yea i really wanna get this thing ported out and then run a blow through turbo set up on it...but i don't realy have the money now...and i don't really think this is something i wana do myself

Yea porting it i can understand not wanting to do. Building the motor wouldnt be bad at all though. I have read many writeups and it is not that hard. You could always just send your housings off to get ported and then put it all together yourself. FB turbo would be pretty sick and FAST, especially in a clean body like yours.:)

but yea it'd be fun...as far as i've rread i can only run like 9 lbs of boost with the stock rotors...but yea after i get my exhaust finished up i'm looking to get a sterling carb...and then move to porting...and then think about getting the turbo on it

I remember back in the day when I had my 01 v8 mountaineer awd I raced a v6 camaro and firebird one night and actually beat them to 90mph. That mountaineer was slow as aids too. I "Highly" doubt a v6 fbody would even touch a high 17.
